i visited patternlanguage.com for the first time in a while and there are some new bits. the best i found was an introduction to the nature of order book 2 written by christopher alexander for amazon and i thought it would be of interest to our little community as it explains why his work has its professional enemies and better yet is a 24 page pdf file written for the benefit of the scientists amongst us which introduces concepts in complexity theory that form the basis of the new paradigm in architecture
